Superior Attic was founded in DFW with a clear mission: to help homeowners create more comfortable, energy-efficient homes through honest, high-quality attic solutions. Since then—and after thousands of successful projects—we’ve grown into the leading attic insulation and spray foam company in the DFW Metroplex. Built on the belief that top-tier service, very competitive pricing, and genuine relationships should always come first, we’re committed to making sure you’re 100% satisfied with every aspect of our work—so much so that you’ll want to tell your friends about us!
In the heat-soaked neighborhoods of the DFW Metroplex, where attics often feel more like ovens, the foundation for Superior Attic wasn’t built in a boardroom—it was built in the attic itself. Long before leading a team or building an industry leading insulation company, The founder, Jonathan Rivera was the one sweating it out in the insulation, learning every inch of the work firsthand. From crawling through tight spaces to installing spray foam, he worked every position in the business—earning trust one attic, one customer, and one long day at a time.
What started as a simple desire to do good, honest, hard work has grown into one of the leading attic insulation and spray foam companies in the DFW Metroplex. But Superior Attic is more than just insulation—it’s about creating safer, healthier, more energy-efficient homes and building real relationships along the way. We saw a gap in the industry where quick jobs and surface-level service were the norm. So we set out to do things differently—with integrity, resilience, well being and a people-first mindset guiding every project. Today, every member of our team carries that same belief: that hard work matters, that homes deserve to be treated with care, and that people are powerful. And that’s the story we keep writing—one attic at a time.

Superior Attic is committed to offering the best products in the industry
Integrity: We take integrity to a new level. It’s not just what people are doing when they are not being watched, it's honoring our word. Our word is all we have and many companies abuse it. Whether it’s telling our customer “I’ll have that document over by the end of day.” or “We will be there at 8am.” We follow through with our commitments!
Well-being: Your home’s comfort starts with a team that’s healthy and supported. At Superior Attic, we focus on mental, emotional, and physical well-being—not just for our staff but ultimately for your benefit. By fostering a positive, trauma-informed work environment, we ensure our team can perform at their best, delivering careful, thoughtful service that protects your home and enhances your family’s comfort.
Resilience: No matter the challenge—whether extreme weather or tricky attic conditions—we stay strong and committed to your project’s success. Like the olive tree that flourishes in any climate, we adapt and push through obstacles to deliver lasting solutions. Our resilience means you can trust us to face difficulties head-on and provide attic insulation and spray foam work that stands the test of time.
Relationship: We don’t see you as just a job or an address. Building real relationships based on trust, respect, and communication is at the heart of everything we do. We listen to your concerns, keep you informed, and collaborate closely to ensure your needs are met. Our goal is to create a positive experience that leaves you feeling valued, safe, and confident in the work we provide.

Founder & District Manager
Jonathan Rivera’s journey began in Far Rockaway, NY, but truly took shape after his family relocated to Austin, Texas when he was five. Raised in a home with limited resources and few visible opportunities, Jonathan learned early on that if he wanted more for his life, he’d have to build it himself. At 18, he followed his high school sweetheart, Whitney, to college in Denton—a move that marked the beginning of both his family and his mission. Now living in Flower Mound with Whitney and their two sons, Greyson and Ethan, Jonathan leads Superior Attic with the same mindset that shaped his path: a deep belief in creating opportunity—for himself, his team, and every family they serve.
Jonathan didn’t start with a degree or business plan—he started with hard work. His career began deep in the attics of Texas, working in rodent removal and restoration. Over time, he mastered every layer of the process—from removing old insulation to reinstalling new in a 150 degree attic. That experience eventually led him to launch and sell his first company, then build Superior Attic from the ground up. And while he later returned to school to pursue an MBA at SMU, it’s the hands-on lessons from years in the field that shaped his leadership.
For Jonathan, Superior Attic is more than just insulation and spray foam—it’s a platform for people to experience the comfort of true support & empowerment. He leads with a “seal every gap” mentality, relentlessly pursuing better systems, stronger teams, and customer experiences that feel intentional and personal. What fuels him most is helping others grow—whether it's a teammate stepping into leadership or a homeowner finally feeling at ease in their space.
When he's not at work, you’ll find Jonathan up at 5 a.m. weight training with close friends, on a pickleball court, or soaking in time with his family. To him, Superior Attic is more than a company—it’s a lifestyle of integrity, relationships, well being, resilience and the belief that people are powerful.
